How to fix 403 (Forbidden) Error in WordPress site

WordPress is one of the best web content management systems. If you are a blogger or you are running an e-commerce site, then you probably heard about it. It is the best option to make your business online in a short period of time with less money. While running the WordPress site, you will get many minor issues, this 403 issue is one of them. Generally, you get this issue when you try to log in to your dashboard. This forbidden error comes when your system thinks that you don’t have the required permission to access a particular page. Let’s fix the issue.

The process of fixing this issue is very simple, first of all, open your Cpanel. In your Cpanel dashboard search for ModSecurity and click on it.

In ModSecurity, you will get one message which says “ModSecurity is enabled for all of your domains. You can Disable ModSecurity for your domain”. Click on Disable button and then click on Disable all options.

Once you disable the ModSecurity, you will get the button to enable the ModSecurity for your domain as shown in the figure below.

Click on the Enable Button and go to your website and try to log in to your WordPress dashboard page this time it will work.
